The city of Helsinki has put into continuous use the customer research platform and the related expert services provided by Digitalist. The new agreement continues the multi-year cooperation between Digitalist and the City of Helsinki in the field of customer research. In a four-year period, the total value of the service can rise to a maximum of 4 million euros.

During the past winter and spring, Digitalist has been part of developing a new visitor experience management model for the city of Helsinki. The model that will be implemented now, enables the city to manage, measure and develop the visitor experience comprehensively and consistently to promote positive visitor experiences. Design methods have been utilised in the development work and stakeholders and operators from the tourism and event sectors have been widely involved. Four workshops were organised during the project, in which more than 100 representatives from important stakeholders of Helsinki tourism participated.

We are thrilled to announce that we are working with VR, the Finnish Railway company, to develop a green manifesto for their IT department. The manifesto will include green coding principles, equipment renewal guidance, and supplier compliance requirements. One of the main objectives of the project is to educate employees on how everyday choices in IT department can have a positive impact on environmental sustainability.

SECLE is a new authority and procurement unit under the Finnish National Agency for Education, and it promotes the competence development of working-age people and the availability of skilled labor in Finland. It is responsible for developing information-, advisory- and guidance services, analysing and interpreting foresight about competence and labor market needs, financing education and training for working-age people, and supporting regional and other cooperation.
