Digitalist has been selected to design and implement the online services for the newly established Finnish Service Center for Continuous Learning and Employment (SECLE). SECLE is a new authority and procurement unit under the Finnish National Agency for Education, and it promotes the competence development of working-age people and the availability of skilled labor in Finland. It is responsible for developing information-, advisory- and guidance services, analysing and interpreting foresight about competence and labor market needs, financing education and training for working-age people, and supporting regional and other cooperation.

Creating an innovative model for managing Helsinki Visitor Experience

The City of Helsinki is developing a new model for managing Helsinki’s visitor experience, and we are very excited to be chosen as their partner for that development task. In order to achieve the strategic goals of the Helsinki tourism and events 2022-2026 action plan, the development of a management model for Helsinki’s visitor experience that combines different tourism and visitor services have been started.

In June 2022 the City of Helsinki chose Digitalist as its service partner for the following two years. The new frame agreement will further deepen the partnership that has already existed between the City of Helsinki and Digitalist. We have worked with the City of Helsinki by providing service design and extensive research services for the hel.fi-website project since 2018. As part of this work we have been responsible for the new hel.fi online community, that contains more than 600 citizens who are co-creating services together with the City of Helsinki.

The City of Turku has chosen Digitalist to become their partner, and provide them with design methods and customer-driven development services for the next two years. We have already been a frame-agreement partner with the City of Turku since 2018, offering them IT-consulting and professional services, and we are very excited to now further expand our collaboration. Digitalist has vast experience in working with the Finnish public sector, and we have already for years been working with many cities to advance Service Design and help them become more customer-driven.
